NYC Day Trip
There’s something special about being able to go to New York for the day. Oh, how I love living on the East Coast!
We took the 7:00 am AMTRAK from DC straight to the Big Apple!
The purpose of the NYC trip was for Cole (My youngest brother). Cole’s NIL check finally hit, and he wanted to buy a Goyard backpack. His first big boy purchase!!! The only issue was that you can’t buy Goyard online, and they only have a select number of stores in the United States. With NYC being the closest Goyard storefront to the DMV, you already know what that means. To NYC we go!
We hit the ground running as soon as the train hit the station! We walked all the way to Goyard, which was at least 20 minutes. We were just so excited to be in the city and to be off the train; we had to get moving. The Goyard storefront was so unique and classy, located in a true NYC brownstone. Cole bought his backpack and immediately put it on. Cooper bought a pouch for all of his belongings. Good stuff. We then walked to Fifth Avenue and visited Bottega Veneta, Dior, and Louis Vuitton. After looking around there, we needed some eats. Coop found us a good pizza spot before heading to Bergdorf Goodman. I was truly able to live out my Blair Waldorf dreams there. Cole bought a matching wallet for his backpack! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Once Cole bought the whole store, we black trucked to SoHo. I am OBSSESSED. Cooper and Cole went to A Bathing Ape, and Mom and I went to KHAITE and The Real Real. I am now truly a KHAITE girl.
This trip was the epitome of abundance for me. We decided earlier that week that we were going to go to NYC for a day to do some shopping. We didn’t have to check with anyone, and we have the resources. There’s nothing to it, but to do it! What are we waiting on? I’m so grateful that we are able to do things like this, and it’s only going to get better!
I also decided that I could most definitely see myself living in NYC. I thought it would be too much for me … no such thing. I fell in love with Central Park, SoHo, the quiet parts of the city, and the fashion. Whew. Call me the Central Park Princess from now on!
Family Dinner
The Bowser Bunch hosted family dinner this month! We had steak, a baked potato bar, and Bigmama’s famous cucumber salad. Here’s the recipe for her go-to summer salad!
Coop bought this Rimowa in NYC as well. TOOOO sweet.
Peep Swerve’s new backpack!
We sent the boys off to Fayetteville, AR, for a couple days. While Cooper was returning to school. Cole was going to workout at his agency’s gym for a couple of days, and ya’ll know Dad couldn’t miss out on that! The agency’s gym is located right in Fayetteville, so the boys were able to fellowship and get some good work in while mom and I were able to get some R&R, and start a new project.

Take me out to the Ball Game
Mom, Dad, and I had an amazing day at the ballpark this past Thursday. First pitch was at 1pm, there were no kids since school was back in session, the weather was beautiful, and $5 beers, hotdogs, and other concessions. Another example of abundance in my life. Being able to do what I want, when I want to! The baseball game was 10x more special since I was with my family.
